Woodbridge Man Charged In Connection With Assault On 5-Year-Old

WOODBRIDGE, VA – A 43-year-old Woodbridge man has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a 5-year-old girl.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, a 5-year-old girl was touched inappropriately by a man who shared a home with her babysitter on the 1400 block of Mathews Drive. The investigation began on March 30, and the assault was reported to have occurred between January 2023 and March 2026. No injuries were reported.

Jose Nahun Aleman-Hernandez was arrested on Wednesday and charged with aggravated sexual battery of a minor under the age of 13. Court documents list the date of the offence as Oct. 31, 2024.

Aleman Hernandez is being held in custody on a $5,000 secured bond. His first hearing is scheduled for July 22.
