Woodbridge Man Wanted For Sexually Assaulting Young Girl: Police
Prince William County police are looking for a 34-year-old Woodbridge man who they say sexually assaulted a young family member.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a young family member. Police are searching for 34-year-old Gean Carlos Velarde-Galindo of Woodbridge in connection with the crime.
According to police, Velarde-Galindo is accused of sexually assaulting a girl at her Woodbridge home between the months of June and September. The girl was between 11 and 12 years old at the time of the assault, and police said she was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion.
The victim recently reported the assaults, prompting an investigation by police.

Police have been unable to locate Velarde-Galindo, who may also go by the names Charlie Gincrl Velarde-Galindo and Gene Carlos Velarde-Galindo. He is described as a Hispanic male who is approximate five-feet five-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Velarde-Galindo is wanted on five counts of sexual battery. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Prince William police at 703-792-7000 or submit a web tip to www.pwcgov.org/policetip.
