Woodbridge, Manassas Bank Robber Arrested; Also Suspected Of Maryland Hold-Up: Police
A man who allegedly robbed banks in Woodbridge and Manassas was arrested in Maryland for robbing an Edgewater bank, according to police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man who allegedly robbed the Sun Trust bank, 4377 Kevin Walker Drive, last Saturday in Woodbridge was arrested Wednesday in Silver Spring, Md., by Anne Arundel County Police for a bank robbery in Edgewater last Friday. Not only that, but he also is suspected of robbing the United Bank, 9626 Center Street, in Manassas City last Thursday, according to Prince William County Police.
Jack Antonio Romero, 30, of the 2300 block of Coleridge Drive in Silver Spring, was charged in Prince William County with robbery, entering a bank armed with intent to commit larceny and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Manassas City Police charged him with armed robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and entering a bank while armed to commit larceny. Anne Arundel County Police charged him with armed robbery, robbery, second-degree assault and theft.
In both Virginia cases, Romero is said to have entered the banks during lunchtime hours, implied he had a gun, demanded money and fled.
