Woodbridge Purse Snatcher Sought by Prince William County Police
First at a Wal-Mart and then at a commuter lot, the suspect drove a black pickup truck before his snatch-and-flee MO.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Police are looking for a man who brazenly robbed two women of their tote bags in two separate incidents this past Sunday and Monday, according to Prince William County Police.
Investigators describe the suspect as a black male in his 40s about six feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds with a muscular build, clean-shaven face and short hair.
In both incidents, the suspect was driving a black pickup truck.

In the second reported incident, at 5:25 a.m. Monday, the 33-year-old victim was walking from a commuter lot at 13455 Telegraph Road to a bus stop when the truck pulled up beside her, whereupon the driver reached out the window, snatched her backpack and sped away.
And that had similarities to the first reported incident, which occurred at 11:36 p.m. Sunday at a Wal-Mart at 14000 Worth Avenue in Woodbridge.

In that case, a 61-year-old woman was walking through the parking lot to her car when a driver of a black pickup pulled up beside her, engaged in a brief conversation and then opened the door and swiped the purse from her shoulder.
