Woodbridge Robbery Spree Suspect Arrested: Police

A man already in jail was arrested last week for a string of robberies last month in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man already in jail for unrelated reasons was indicted last week for his role in several robberies last month in the eastern part of Prince William County, according to PWC Police.

William Howard Robinson, 45, of the 9500 block, was indicted April 3 and served with the charges two days later. He's charged with three counts of robbery, one count of attempted robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery.

He's charged in the March 22 attempted robbery of the BB&T on Noblewood Plaza, the March 13 robbery at the Wells Fargo on Smoketown Road and the March 3 robbery of the Wells Fargo on Dale Boulevard.

Robinson also is charged with the Feb. 28 armed robbery of a Shell service station at 2990 Dale Boulevard.
