Woodbridge Teen Charged With Abduction, Assault On School Grounds
The 17-year-old was detained over an incident that took place at Woodbridge High School on April 9.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 17-year-old Woodbridge boy was arrested Tuesday and charged with abduction and assault and battery following an investigation into an incident on school grounds, Prince William County Police report.
The teen is accused of following a 16-year-old girl through Woodbridge High School in the early afternoon of April 9, assaulting her multiple times and physically restraining her to prevent her from leaving the area. The two teenagers are reportedly in a relationship, according to Prince William County police.
A school resource officer investigated the incident and concluded by getting a detention order for the 17-year-old. He is being held at a juvenile detention center.
