Woodbridge Tow Truck Driver Punches Man After Trying To Take Car

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Mohaned Zyoud, 23, of Woodbridge attempted to repossess a vehicle with a family still inside it. Zyoud also assaulted the vehicle's owner with his tow truck and punched him.

Zyoud had hooked his tow truck to the vehicle while a woman, two children and a dog were inside. The vehicle's 25-year-old owner was in a nearby business and saw what was happening to his vehicle and family. He ran outside and stood in front of the tow truck. Zyoud then struck the man with his truck. The owner went to the driver's side of the tow truck and Zyoud punched him in the face, police reported.

After the altercation, Zyoud unhooked his tow truck and drove away. Zyoud, who works for A&A Towing, has been charged with attempted malicious wounding, assault and battery and misdemeanor hit-and-run.
