Woodbridge Townhouse Fire Displaces 3 Residents

No one was injured in a townhouse fire in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Fire and Rescue.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Woodbridge townhouse fire displaced three residents but caused no injuries Wednesday, according to Prince William County Fire and Rescue.

Units responded around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday to the 2200 block of William Harris Way for multiple reports of smoke from a townhouse. Firefighters found smoke showing from the home and the residents already evacuated. The fire was found in the basement and quickly put out. There were no injuries.

The building official determined the house was unsafe to occupy, and three residents were displaced. Red Cross assistance was requested.

The fire marshal's office believes multiple accidental ignition sources were possible sources of the fire.
