Woodbridge Townhouses Damaged In Weekend Fire

Three people received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the fire, which happened in the 1800 block of Tilletson Place.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Three people were injured Sunday night after heavy fire broke out at a Woodbridge townhouse complex located in the 1800 block of Tilletson Place. The fire also damaged a total of four townhouses, displacing eight people from their homes, according to Prince William County Fire & Rescue.

Firefighters responded to the fire at approximately 5:54 p.m. and arrived to find flames spreading through three townhouses. A second alarm was requested, and once the fire was extinguished, three townhouses received extensive damage while one had minor damage, officials said.

Two civilians and one firefighter were injured in the blaze. All three were transported to a local hospital where they received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

The Red Cross is assisting those displaced by the fire, officials said. The Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office is still investigating the fire’s cause.
