Woodbridge Woman Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On I-95 Near Richmond
A woman from Woodbridge died Sunday night when a wrong-way driver crashed head-on into her vehicle on Interstate 95 south of Richmond.

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, VA โ A woman from Woodbridge died Sunday night when a Florida woman who was driving on the wrong side of Interstate 95 south of Richmond crashed head-on into the vehicle in which the Woodbridge woman was a passenger, according to the Virginia State Police.
The Woodbridge woman, Cecilia M. Suesmith, 62, died at the scene. The driver of the Honda CRV in which she was a passenger was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
At around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, Virginia State Police responded to the crash on I-95 in Prince George County. The police determined that a Toyota Yaris, driven by the Florida woman, was traveling south in the left, northbound lane of I-95 when it crashed head-on into the northbound Honda CRV, the police said.

The driver of the Toyota, Kimberly A. Sawicki, 47, of Ormond Beach, Florida, died at the scene.
Prince George Animal Control removed two dogs from the scene of the crash that had been traveling in the Honda CRV. One of the dogs died in the crash.

The Virginia State Police said they are investigating how the Toyota entered the northbound lanes of I-95.
