Woodbridge Woman Wins $115K Jackpot From Virginia Lottery

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A woman from Woodbridge won a jackpot from the Virginia Lottery last month. Ana Moreno Portillo won $115,000 by playing the Cash 5 with EZ Match game, lottery officials announced on Tuesday.

The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven on Hillendale Drive in Woodbridge, officials said. Portillo won the jackpot in a drawing on Oct. 27.

Portillo won the jackpot by matching all five of the numbers in that day's drawing. Portillo told lottery officials that she and her husband picked the numbers together. The lucky winning numbers were 7-18-14-27-34.

“I feel nervous, in disbelief and happy at the same time," Portillo told lottery officials as she claimed her prize. "I'm in shock!"

Portillo noted that she plans to use her winnings to pay for bills and help pay for her children's college education.
