Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your morning commute on Friday June 24.
On The Road
Drivers can expect lane closures on I-495 in Fairfax County due to the 495 NEXT project between Dulles Toll Road and the American Legion Bridge.

As of 5:15 a.m. the traffic lights were dark at US-29 and Vint Hill Road. When a traffic light is out, drivers should treat the intersection as though it had four stop signs.
As of 6:10 a.m., the right turn lane of Suitland Parkway inbound before Fifth Sterling Avenue SE was blocked by a disabled vehicle.

As of 6:42 a.m., one lane was blocked on westbound I-66 at Sudley Road for a workzone.
Around 6:52 a.m., there was a crash on northbound I-95 at VA 294 and Prince William Parkway. No lanes were blocked.
At 6:56 a.m., there was a crash on eastbound I-66 after US 29 in Fairfax County. Two eastbound lanes were shut down.
At 7:10 a.m., a disabled vehicle was cleared from northbound I-95 two miles north of Route 619.
At 7:13 a.m., there was a crash on the Beltway Outer Loop just before the American Legion Bridge. Drivers should proceed with caution.
At 7:13 a.m., there was a crash at I-695 westbound at M Street SE. The left lane was blocked by the crash.
At 7:26 a.m., the right lane was blocked on the Beltway Outer Loop after River Road for a crash.
At 7:30 a.m., there was a disabled vehicle on southbound I-95 in Fairfax County at mile marker 173.4. No lanes were blocked.
On the Metro
At 5:43 a.m., the Red Line had delays to Fort Trotten due to a signal issue. At 7:15 a.m., Metro should the residual delays had been resolved.
Weather
Friday is expected to feature plenty of sunshine throughout the region. High temperatures will reach around 83 degrees. Wind gusts will be light.
