WOODBRIDGE, VA—A 14-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday and charged in the shootings of two other juvenile teenagers Saturday afternoon in the 15100 block of Cloverdale Road, according to Prince William County Police. The boy, of Woodbridge, was charged with two counts of malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m. Saturday, police arrived at the scene for a reported shooting and found two boys, 15 and 17, suffering from gunshot wounds in the arm and lower body. They were flown to an area hospital with injuries that weren't life threatening.
An investigation found that the victims were walking in the aforementioned area when they camp upon an unknown boy. An altercation ensued, during which police say the boy shot the two teens and then fled. He also is a suspect in a shooting several hours later that left a man with minor injuries after being grazed by a bullet in the 15200 block of Crescent Street. Police don't think the 30-year-old man was the intended target.
