Dale City Lions Have a Flurry of Activities Coming!
Dale City Lions Club will be at the Virginia ABC Store, at Cheshire Station, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM on September 14, 15 and October 19 and 20th. We’ll also be at Giant at Center Plaza on September 28 & 29, as well as October 19 & 20 to raise funds all as part of the annual White Cane Hearing Days.
Funds donated by community members will be used for hearing conservation and our hearing aid bank.
According to Lion Tim Taylor of Dale City Lions Club, “Money raised on September 14 & 15 will allow Lions to meet pressing needs in our community. Lions’ members thank everyone who contributes to this important work. You are truly helping Lions make a difference in our community.”
We also have two dates coming up for our Adopt a Highway program, once on September 21 and again on October 12! Dale City Lions have adopted a two mile section of Cardinal Drive, beginning at Minnieville Road. Through a program with VDOT, Lions clean a two mile stretch of road four times each year. The Gar-Field/Dale City Leos Club helps us out with this project, too!
In November, beginning on the 16th, we’ll be at First Baptist Church of Woodbridge
13600 Minnieville Rd Woodbridge, VA 22193, once again selling our delicious citrus fruit and juicy apples at our Winter Fruit Sale.

The Dale City Lions Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 PM at the Prince William Ice Center, 5180 Dale Blvd Woodbridge, VA 22193. Lions clubs identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
