2 Injured In I-405 Vehicular Assault
State police are saying that an impaired driver caused a crash Saturday afternoon.

CANYON PARK, WA - An impaired driver allegedly caused a wreck on I-405 Saturday afternoon and will be charged with vehicular assault, according to Washington State Patrol. Two people were sent to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Police report that a 20-year-old Everett man was driving on northbound I-405 at SR 527 when his Mercedes struck the rear of a Lexus driven by a 57-year-old Mill Creek man. The Lexus left the roadway, ending up in a ditch on its side. The driver and passenger of the Lexus were injured in the crash.
The case remains under investigation.
