SEATTLE, WA — It might feel like we just had an election (and we did, in February), but there's another one coming up quick on April 23. There are key voter deadlines coming up this week in Pierce, King, and Snohomish counties that you should be aware of.

April 15 — also Tax Day — is the last day you can register in-person to vote in the April special election. All county election offices are recommending voters mail or drop off ballots by April 19. Ballots must be postmarked by April 23 to count.

There are many important items on the April special election ballot, including a major capital projects levy for the Lake Washington School District, and a renewal of the Central Pierce Fire and Rescue levy.
