Audio: Deputy Commandeers Golf Cart To Catch Fleeing Suspect

"I am now driving a golf cart across the golf course to catch my suspect on the green," the deputy tells a dispatcher over the radio.

TUKWILA, WA - A teed-off King County Deputy commandeered a golf cart over the weekend to chase a fleeing suspect. The deputy narrated the chase as he spoke over the radio to a dispatcher saying, "I am now driving a golf cart across the golf course to catch my suspect on the green."

The incident happened Saturday in Tukwila when the deputy noticed a motorcyclist riding a bike without license plates. The deputy pursued the suspect to Interurban Avenue, where the biker ditched his motorcycle in the parking lot of a casino.

The suspect then hopped a fence, entering the Foster Golf Links course along the Green River. The deputy asked two golfers if he could borrow their cart to catch up to the suspect. They obliged, and you can listen to the chase here:

As you can hear in the audio, the deputy did not yell "fore" before making the arrest.
