Driver Pepper Sprays Witness In Fatal Hit And Run

A three-car crash in Granite Falls left one person dead and one of the drivers fled the scene.

GRANITE FALLS, WA - A driver involved in a fatal wreck allegedly pepper sprayed a witness and fled the scene, according to Washington State Patrol. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is investigating the Sunday night crash.

Three cars were involved in the wreck near Cory and Burns roads, KIRO 7 reported. The driver of a Mazda hit a motorcycle and pepper sprayed the witness who had been driving another vehicle. The Mazda driver fled but was stopped a short while later.
