Extreme Heat Coming Back To Puget Sound: Forecast
We might see temperatures in excess of 90 degrees soon, according to long-range forecasts.

SEATTLE, WA - The extreme heat we experienced in Puget Sound over the weekend has, thankfully, dissipated - but not for long.
National Weather Service long-range forecasts indicate that extreme heat has a 60 percent or better chance of returning over the next month. The chance of higher-than-normal temperatures are even higher in southwest Washington from Olympia to the Oregon border - about an 85 percent chance of high heat.
Meanwhile, we have a 40 to 50 percent chance of below-average amounts of precipitation over the next month.
