False Report Of Active Shooter At Southcenter Mall
Police investigated a report of gunshots Saturday night, quickly determining that it was inaccurate.

TUKWILA, WA - Police investigated a report of an active shooter at Southcenter Mall Saturday night, but found that no shots were fired. There was a fight involving several people that led to the call. There was a heavy police response but mall operations returned to normal a short while later, according to reports.
The news comes following a false report of an active shooter at Highline Community College in Des Moines. The campus went into lockdown Friday morning after a report of gunfire, but law enforcement found there was no danger present.
Officers responded to an incident in the Southcenter District. It was a dispute that escalated into a physical altercation. There were no shots fired as had been reported. Officers contacted the involved parties and confirmed that there were no injuries.
