Fishing Is Free This Weekend In Washington
Anyone can go fishing this weekend in Washington - no license required.

OLYMPIA, WA - A rainy, cloudy forecast for this weekend will put a damper on most activities - except maybe fishing.
This weekend fishing is free across the entire state, according to the state Department of Fish and Wildlife. It's an annual event that happens the first weekend after the first Monday in June. In addition to being able to fish without a license, you won't need a Discover Pass to park on state park lands.
Here's what you don't need this weekend to go fishing:

- Vehicle Access Pass (which comes with a fishing license)
- Discover Pass not required on WDFW or Washington State Park lands, but will be required on DNR lands both days.
- Columbia River Salmon/Steelhead Endorsement
- Two-Pole Endorsement ###a>
