Flood Concerns Carry Into Wednesday For Two Washington Rivers
Most rivers have crested, but flooding will persist into Wednesday in some areas.

SNOQUALMIE, WA — After a day that brought the season's first floods to parts King and Snohomish counties, most rivers had crested by Tuesday evening, but flooding concerns will persist near two Washington rivers into Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service, both the Snoqualmie and Snohomish rivers will crest by Tuesday night and will continue to recede through Wednesday morning. However, roads and properties near the rivers are likely to see the continued impacts of floodwaters.

Along the Olympic Peninsula, Forks say it's ninth wettest day on record with more than five inches of rainfall. In Snohomish County, several roads were closed and some drivers had to be rescued after driving through flooded areas.
