Food Recall In Washington: Wraps, Salads May Contain Salmonella
The USDA issued the recall Wednesday for products that may have been sold at Trader Joe's stores.

SEATTLE, WA - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a recall for wraps and salads sold in Washington due to possible salmonella and listeria contamination. The products were made in Portland by Mary’s Harvest Fresh Foods, and some were sold at Trader Joe's stores.
According to the USDA, the following products may contain corn contaminated with listeria or salmonella:
- 7-oz. clear plastic wrapped packages containing “MARY’S HARVEST Southwest Chicken Wrap w/ Rib Meat” and “Use By” dates from 10/15/18 through 10/23/18.
- 11-oz. clear plastic clamshell packages containing “TRADER JOSE’S MEXICALI INSPIRED SALAD WITH CHILI SEASONED CHICKEN” and “BEST BY” dates from 10/15/18 through 10/19/18.
Mary’s Harvest Fresh Foods found out about the contamination on Oct. 15 from its corn supplier. The contaminated products were made between Oct. 5 and Oct. 13 and were sold at stores across Washington and Oregon.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with these products. The USDA advises consumers to throw away or return any possibly contaminated products.
