Forks Man Dies In Bonney Lake Head-On Crash

BONNEY LAKE, WA - A 39-year-old man from Forks died Wednesday night in a two-car crash along SR 410. The crash happened just after 7 p.m. about halfway between Bonney Lake and Enumclaw.

According to Washington State Patrol, Benjamin Punley, 39, died after his pickup truck collided with a car driven by a 33-year-old Black Diamond man.

Police have not determined a cause of the crash, but reported Punley, who was headed eastbound, crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. The crash blocked SR 410 for about four hours, according to state patrol.
