Wildfire Forces Closure Of I-90 In Eastern Wash.
Washington State Patrol closed the highway Tuesday morning as brush fires continued to burn east of the Cascades.

VANTAGE, WA - Washington State Patrol closed all lanes of I-90 Tuesday due to a brush fire. Both directions of the highway were closed near Vantage, according to Trooper Brian Moore, but the highway was set to reopen by noon Tuesday.
The Ryegrass-Coulee Fire is burning across about 300 acres near Vantage. Winds are blowing embers from the fire throughout the area, and the state Fire Marshal has ordered a level three evacuation in the area.
During the closure, drivers should detour using I-82 and SR 24 through Moxee.
