I-405 Crash Leads To Search For Motorcyclist

Police suspected that a motorcyclist had been ejected into the Sammamish River Sunday night, but he checked in later at a local hospital.

BOTHELL, WA - Police suspected that a motorcyclist who rear-ended another driver at I-405 and SR 522 Sunday night ended up in the Sammamish River. However, the motorcyclist surfaced when he checked into a local hospital a few hours later, according to KOMO News. Police initially thought he may have been ejected and fallen over the railing into the river.

Emergency crews from around the area searched for the motorcyclist for hours. It's unclear how he got from the scene of the crash to the hospital. Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
