King County Woman Dies In Weekend I-5 Crash

The woman's car rolled over and came to rest in the middle of I-5 partially blocking the freeway for four hours.

FEDERAL WAY, WA — A 29-year-old Federal Way woman died early Sunday morning in a two-car crash along I-5 in south King County, according to Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. in the Star Lake area south of Kent. April J. Toor was driving her 2012 Chevrolet Cruze northbound when she apparently lost control. Her car hit the guardrail on the right side of the road, and then rolled into the middle of the highway.

Kieonna Ford, 25, of Tacoma, was headed northbound when Toor's car rolled in front of her. Ford's car came to rest on top of Toor's car, according to WSP. Ford was injured, but did not need to go to a hospital.
