Meatloaf Recalled In Washington: USDA

The recall involves meatloaf made by a company based in Kent.

KENT, WA - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a recall for meatloaf made and distributed in Washington. About 62 pounds of Taylor Farms Northwest meatloaf were distributed without proper labels, and certain allergens were not disclosed.

The meatloaf products were distributed on Aug. 19. The products are 16-ounce portions of "Homestyle Meatloaf." The mislabeled product will have a sell-by date of Aug. 25 located on the front of the package.

The mislabeled products contain fish and milk. The error was discovered by a Taylor Farms employee, and the company alerted the the agriculture department's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
