Missing WA Woman May Be In 'Manic State'

Police are asking for help locating Detra D. Burten, 45, who has been missing since Jan. 22.

LACEY, WA - Police are trying to find a missing woman who was released recently from a psychiatric hospital. Detra D. Burten, 45, was released from St. Peter Hospital in Olympia on Jan. 22 and has not been seen since.

Burten has family in Lacey but no known ties to other local cities. Police do not believe Burten has been taking her medication and may be in a "manic state."

Burten was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, a white cap, and black capri pants. She is 5'8", weighs 300 pounds, and has light brown eyes.
