She walked away from a car crash in Washington months ago. This week, she turned up in New Jersey.

NORWOOD, NJ - A woman found this week sitting on a bench in a northern New Jersey town claims that she walked there after a car crash in Washington months ago. A public works employee found the woman, who was confused and could not remember her identity.

Police in New Jersey publicized the woman's photo, and by Thursday afternoon she was reunited with her husband, an Arizona resident. It turns out, the woman had been missing for about six months.

The woman was born and raised in Philadelphia and her husband is in Arizona, NBC4 reported. The woman's daughters, who live in Philadelphia and Nebraska, will come and pick the woman up, Norwood Police Chief Jeffrey Kraples told NBC4.
