SEATTLE, WA - Will you be able to see New Year's Eve fireworks this year? Unfortunately, probably not.
The preliminary New Year's forecast for Puget Sound shows clouds on Monday and rain on New Year's Day. On top of clouds on New Year's Eve, the forecast shows temperatures are going to drop into the mid-30s.

Friday: Rain, mainly after 10am. High near 46. South southeast wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Friday Night: Rain. Low around 44. South southwest wind 9 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Saturday: Rain. High near 52. South southwest wind 18 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Saturday Night: Rain. Low around 42. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday: Rain likely. Partly sunny, with a high near 47. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Sunday Night: A slight chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 36.
New Years Eve: Cloudy, with a high near 44.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36.
New Year's Day: A slight chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 46.
