Pedestrian Killed In SR 99 Crash
Police are investigating a vehicle vs. pedestrian wreck in Lynnwood late Thursday night.

LYNNWOOD, WA - A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle late Thursday night on southbound SR 99, police said. The incident occurred between the 18600 and 18800 blocks of the road in a commercial area. Police said the investigation is in its preliminary stages.
The victim was an adult male. SR 99 was closed for several hours while emergency crews cleared the scene. Southbound Hwy 99 between the 18600 and 18800 block closed for a Vehicle vs Pedestrian collision. Pedestrian is deceased. Traffic investigators are responding to the scene. Investigation is very preliminary; no other details at this point. Will update when roadway is reopened.
