Prepare For Rain This Weekend In Puget Sound: Forecast

But there's always a chance of rain around these parts, right? Find out how weather will affect your weekend plans.

SEATTLE, WA - In the Pacific Northwest, you should always be prepared for rain (although less so in summer). This weekend is no different. The National Weather Service forecast is calling for temperatures in the mid-70s all weekend and a chance of rain on Friday night and during the day Saturday.

Looking at this weekend's forecast, we wouldn't fault you for wondering when real summer is coming. According to the NWS three-month forecast, there's about a 60 percent chance of Puget Sound seeing higher-than-average temperatures - and about a 40 percent chance of below-average rainfall.

Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. Southwest wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. South southwest wind 9 to 15 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. West wind 8 to 16 mph becoming east northeast after midnight.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming northwest in the morning.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.
