Reckless Driver Strikes Pole; Crash Closes SR 527
Police said a reckless driver lost control of his vehicle, struck a pole, then fled the scene.
BOTHELL, WA - A reckless driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a streetlight on SR 527 Tuesday evening. The streetlight fell into the roadway and closed lanes of SR 527 near 214th Street SE for more than an hour.
Police said the suspect fled the scene of the crash. However, a tip from a civilian led police to catch the suspect at his residence.
