See The Supermoon In Puget Sound On Monday, Tuesday
The biggest supermoon of 2019 will be visible on Monday and Tuesday. Will our weather cooperate?

SEATTLE, WA - The supermoon is back. A full moon that appears exceptionally large will be visible Monday and Tuesday nights in Puget Sound.
That is, if our weather cooperates.
For us, the best time to see the supermoon will be on Monday night. Skies should only be partly cloudy, according to the National Weather Service. A wet weather system will move into the region on Tuesday, which will likely prevent us from seeing the moon on Tuesday night.

The supermoon peak happens very early on Tuesday morning, around 8 a.m. This is the biggest supermoon of 2019 because the full moon will align with the perigee, where it's closest to earth.
If you really want to experience this phenomenon, head to Eastern Washington. It will be mostly sunny today in the Yakima area and clear until around 10 a.m. Tuesday. Spokane will have freezing fog overnight into Tuesday, which might add a spooky edge to the supermoon.

The February supermoon is the second of three (the first was that "Super Blood Wolf Moon") in 2019. The final supermoon happens March 21.
