1 Injured In Deputy-Involved Shooting In Granite Falls
A Snohomish County Sheriff's deputy shot at a man multiple times.
GRANITE FALLS, WA - The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said that there was a deputy-involved shooting off Mountain Loop Highway in Granite Falls Monday night. The Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team (SMART) has been activated in response to the incident.
KOMO News reported that a Lynnwood woman called police saying that her friend was suicidal. Police located the man and at some point a deputy fired multiple shots.
The man was injured and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. Police have recovered multiple edged weapons from the scene, KOMO News reported.
