Missing Frederickson Woman Found

Pierce County deputies have located an 86-year-old Frederickson woman after she was reported missing on Monday.

UPDATE: Rodriguez LaLande was found safe early Monday evening at a store in Auburn.

PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A silver alert was issued Monday after 86-year-old Mary Rodriguez LaLande did not return from a shopping trip Sunday afternoon. Investigators said the Frederickson woman was last seen driving a green 1997 Toyota 4Runner SUV with Washington plates 545WSL. She had planned to visit a grocery store near her home on 25th Avenue East in Frederickson.

According to Pierce County officials, Rodriguez LaLande suffers from memory loss and her cell phone has been turned off for several days. Deputies said her credit card has been used at gas stations in Auburn and Seattle.

Rodriguez LaLande is described as a white woman with black hair and brown eyes, a little over 5 feet tall, and weighing 125 pounds. Anyone who sees her is asked to contact the Pierce County Sheriff's Department at 253-798-2325.
