Sinkhole To Cause Delays On WA 2
The WSDOT is recommending drivers seek alternate routes.

SKYKOMISH, WA - A massive sinkhole on westbound WA 2 is going to require hefty repairs. WSDOT said that drivers traveling through the Skykomish area over Memorial Day Weekend should seek alternate routes. For the time being, crews will be alternating traffic through the repair zone near milepost 53 until it is safe for two lanes of traffic.
Crews discovered a sinkhole, part of which is under WB US 2 at milepost 53, near #Skykomish. We need to fill the hole before it is safe to open US 2 to two lanes of traffic. Plan for alternating traffic overnight/Friday as well as #MemorialDayWeekend travel delays pic.twitter.com/xASIBB9Amq
