Snohomish Deputy Shoots, Kills Man Near Everett
The shooting took place at the intersection of Home Acres Road and US-2.

EVERETT, WA - A Snohomish County deputy shot and killed a man Sunday night near Everett. The shooting occurred at Home Acres Road and US-2, KOMO News reported.
The single suspect in the case was shot and confirmed dead at the scene. The officer involved in the shooting was not injured.
Police reportedly received a call from the man's wife that he was suicidal. When they found and confronted the man in a parking lot, he did not comply with officers' commands that he come out from behind his vehicle. Deputies opened fire when they saw that the man appeared to be holding a weapon.
