Soccer Dad Bank Robber Strikes Again, Police Say

Police say the cardigan-clad bank robber with a "medium to heavyset build" hit a second bank on Monday.

LYNNWOOD, WA - There's a serial bank robber at work in Lynnwood, but this guy looks more like he's on his way to pick up the kids from soccer practice.

On Monday afternoon, this mild-looking, cardigan-wearing man robbed the U.S. Bank along 196th Street of a an undisclosed amount of cash. The same man apparently robbed a Wells Fargo bank branch along 196th Street last Thursday, just about a mile east of U.S. Bank branch.

The suspect did not produce a weapon during the robberies, according to Lynnwood police. No one has been injured during the robberies.

Police describe the man as in his 30s or 40s with a "medium to heavyset build" and standing about 6 feet tall. During one robbery, he was wearing a patterned scarf.
