Eastbound Snoqualmie Pass Reopens After Spinouts At Denny Creek
Spinouts and crashes five miles west of the summit prompted a full eastbound closure of Snoqualmie Pass Wednesday afternoon.

SNOQUALMIE PASS, WA — Eastbound travel was brought to a halt over Snoqualmie Pass Wednesday after several spin-outs and crashes a few miles west of the summit. The Washington State Department of Transportation said the closure began at milepost 47, near Denny Creek, around 4 p.m. Eastbound lanes reopened shortly before 5:30 p.m., and chains were required on all vehicles, except those with all-wheel or four-wheel drive.
I-90 eastbound is closed at MP 47 near Denny Creek, 5 miles west of the summit due to spin-outs and collisions. There is no estimated reopening time.

We're getting closer to the snow that is expected Friday. Crews will be out in force, but we ask that you don't crowd the plow. Visibility is already reduced due to snow, so please make yourself visible around our crews and give them space. Our goal is to get you there safely. pic.twitter.com/f4nIArLkzo
