Tuesday's Smoke Forecast: Unhealthy All Day, Everywhere
Residents in Pierce, King, and Snohomish counties should stay indoors Tuesday due to poor air quality.

PUYALLUP, WA - If you woke up with a rattle in your chest and itchy eyes, no one needs to tell you: the air quality out there is bad. The air quality forecast for Tuesday is poor, and health experts are recommending all residents to stay indoors.
A National Weather Service air quality alert is in effect until Wednesday night, and there's a stage 1 burn ban in effect across Puget Sound - that means no charcoal barbecues or recreational fires.
"Tuesday morning update: We forecast UNHEALTHY levels to continue for much of our region well into tomorrow. Stay indoors with windows closed if you can find somewhere cool. We expect more smoke impacts into tomorrow. We'll keep this forecast updated as conditions change," the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency wrote in its Tuesday forecast.
