Very Early Thanksgiving Forecast: Chance Of Snow
Puget Sound got creamed by a snowstorm near Thanksgiving 2010. Is there a chance it will happen again?

SEATTLE, WA - You might've already seen the map. It shows the U.S. mostly covered in a blue-and-white blob. The name of the map: "Historical probability of a snowy Thanksgiving."
If you look closely, you see Puget Sound covered in a very dark shade of blue - and that's a good thing. The map indicates the historical probability of snow hitting us on Thanksgiving is between just 3 and 10 percent.
Right now, forecasts indicate the jet stream will plunge down into the Midwest and Northeast bringing frigid temperatures and a high probability for snow. So if you're traveling to see relatives in Chicago or Buffalo, be prepared for possible flight delays.
