BELLINGHAM, WA — The end of the movie "Avengers: End Game" was spoiled in a terrifying way on Sunday afternoon when a Bellingham man stood up in a packed theater and said that he was going to detonate a bomb, according to reports.

The man accused of making the threat, Ryan Nolan MacFarlane, 27, made his first appearance in court on Monday. He is facing a felony bomb threat charge and was ordered to be held in jail on $25,000 bail.

According to the Bellingham Herald, MacFarlane stood up in the theater during the final moments of the Avengers movie, began talking about god, and then said, "this bomb will help you get to the end." A man in the theater who was carrying a gun followed MacFarlane outside and held him until police arrived, court documents say.
