Washington Weather Forecast: Calmer, Sunnier Days Ahead
After an active weekend of weather, Western Washington is looking pretty present for the next few days.
SEATTLE — After a wild weather Sunday, complete with thunderstorms, wet snow and hail sandwiched in between a few beautiful sunbreaks, the week ahead looks to be a little less action-packed in Puget Sound, according to the latest forecasts.

The wettest weather was expected to taper off Sunday evening, allowing for cooler overnight temperatures as the clouds cleared. Forecasters expect a few slick spots on the roads through the Monday commute, especially in the South Sound.
According to the National Weather Service, Monday and Tuesday should stay relatively dry, outside a few potential rain bands, with afternoon highs in the low 50s and overnight temperatures in the high 30s. Mostly or partly sunny days are on tap through the work week for most, and temperatures look unlikely to budge much for the near future.
