Wind Advisory In Effect For Puget Sound Saturday

Expect high wind gusts up to 50 MPH throughout the day Saturday along the I-5 corridor from Everett to Tacoma.

SEATTLE, WA - A wind advisory will be in effect starting Saturday morning for all of Puget Sound along the I-5 corridor. The National Weather Service is warning of wind gusts up to 50 MPH between Everett and Tacoma.

The wind advisory lasts from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Southerly winds will blow between 20 and 35 MPH throughout the day. As with other recent storms, high winds could cause widespread power outages and topple trees.

Expect plenty of rain on Saturday, with totals between a 1/10 and 1/4 inch possible, according to the NWS.
