WSP Trooper Named 'Chicks' Investigates Chicken Spill
A truck hauling chickens crashed near Vancouver Monday. WSP sent the best man for the job.

DOLLARS CORNER, WA - What's next? A trooper named Bacardi pulling over a drunk driver? A trooper named fish responding to a seafood spill along the Alaskan Way Viaduct?
In an amazing coincidence, a Washington State Patrol trooper named B.D. Chicks responded to a chicken truck crash along SR 502 in the hamlet of Dollars Corner north of Vancouver. The chickens, about 5,000 in total, were scattered everywhere, running all over the road.
According to Trooper Will Finn, the truck was coming from a Foster Farms facility when it crashed around 3 p.m. The driver of the truck apparently made an illegal U-turn, causing his truck to tip over. The cluckin' mess caused pretty severe traffic delays.
