1 Seriously Hurt In Bellevue Apartment Fire

The fire broke out around 6 a.m. Friday in an apartment in the Lake Hills area.

BELLEVUE, WA - One person was seriously hurt in an early-morning fire in a Bellevue apartment. Firefighters responded to the building along the 14500 block Southeast 24th Street before 6 a.m.

The fire was located in an apartment on the first floor of the building and was extinguished relatively quickly.

The fire only damaged the one apartment, but inside firefighters found the injured person. Bellevue fire said they were taken to a local trauma hospital for treatment.
