2 Bump Stock Buyback Events Coming Up In Washington
Over two events, Washington State Patrol will pay bump stock owners $150 per device.

BELLEVUE, WA - Washington State Patrol will host two bump stock buyback events at the end of March. Bump stock owners will get $150 per device they turn in.
On Thursday, Gov. Jay Inslee signed a bill that provides $150,000 for the bump stock buyback program. President Donald Trump issued a bump stock ban last year, and that will go into effect on March 26.
The shooter who carried out the October 2017 massacre at the Las Vegas strip used bump stocks on semiautomatic AR-15-style rifles, allowing him to fire the guns as if they were automatic. He killed 58 people and left hundreds more wounded.
