2 Fires Hit Homes In Bellevue Thursday
A home and part of an apartment building were damaged in separate fires in Bellevue.

BELLEVUE, WA - Bellevue firefighters responded to two fires at homes in the city on Thursday.
The first and more serious fire broke out around 11 a.m. in the Lake Hills neighborhood near the intersection of Southeast 10th Street and 140th Avenue Southeast. The fire broke out in the home's chimney, and everyone in the home made it out safely.
The second fire broke out around 1 p.m. at an apartment complex across 156th Avenue Northeast from the Crossroads shopping center. Firefighters arrived to find a post on the outside of the building smoldering. Firefighters removed the post to prevent the fire from spreading.
